The ceramic shells I create are deeply rooted in my most cherished memory from my childhood home where one object stood out to me—a porcelain vessel my father had brought home from an artist in Italy. Its beauty, fragility and timelessness left a profound impression on me, becoming a symbol of wonder and inspiration. My ceramic shells series is a way of reconnecting with that memory and channeling the love and admiration I felt for that piece into my own creations, allowing the past to live on in my art.
